Description: Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) conjugation is one of mechanisms responsible for regulation of free auxin levels in plants. Taurine is one of the most abundant amino acids in the brain and spinal cord, leukocytes, heart and muscle cells, the retina, and indeed almost every tissue throughout the body. There is ever-increasing evidence that taurine depletion leads to a wide range of pathological conditions, including severe cardiomyopathy, renal dysfunction, pancreatic β cell malfunction, and loss of retinal photoreceptor.
